flying
is the art
of throwing oneself at the ground
and missing


i've never tried
because sometimes falling
sounds better than flying


i want to be beautifully broken.
i want to see the shining pieces scattered on the ground.
i want to know that nobody can put them back together
because cracks and glue drops are not beautiful.


maybe someday i'll fly
if i just stop thinking
and believe


or maybe gravity loves me too much
to ever let me go
